Best Odds Guaranteed works the same way everywhere: take a price on a horse, and if its starting price is bigger, the bet is settled at the starting price. What differs between bookmakers is the small print, and that is what the table above compares.
Start time. Most bookmakers apply the guarantee only to bets struck after a set time on the day of the race. Where a bookmaker's terms give the time, the table shows it.
Ante-post bets. Bets placed days or weeks before the race are usually excluded. Bookmakers whose terms say so are marked "No ante-post".
Which races. The guarantee normally covers UK and Irish horse racing. Some bookmakers extend it to greyhounds; others leave out certain meetings or bet types.
Caps. Some terms limit how much extra a guaranteed bet can pay. Those bookmakers are marked "Capped".
Who gets it. Some operators apply it only to selected customers or races, or ask you to opt in first. If the terms say so, check it shows on your betslip before you rely on it.
