A typical enhanced odds offer takes a selection priced at, say, 2/1 and boosts it to 5/2 or 3/1 for new or existing customers, usually capped at a modest maximum stake such as £5 or £10. The boost applies only within that stake limit — bet more, and the excess reverts to the standard price.
Boosts are commonly used as a welcome-offer mechanic (bet on a boosted price as your first bet) and as an ongoing existing-customer promotion, refreshed daily around popular fixtures. Some operators run a single boosted selection; others offer a boosted acca or same-game multi.
The genuine value in an enhanced odds offer depends on whether the boosted selection is one you would have backed anyway. A boost on a selection you don't rate is not worth chasing just for the improved price — the stake cap limits the extra return regardless.
