Vbet originally started off back in 2008 and was named after the retail bookies, Vivaro Betting and BetConstruct got together and put their product on the world wide web. They started out targeting the Armenian audiences, but they quickly established themselves as one of the leading betting sites in Eastern European countries like Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova and Russia. It wasn’t long until they turned their attention towards the Western European markets and they’ve been very well received during the process. One reason that they’ve surged in popularity is their response to the mobile betting markets. Vbet allow players to bet from their phones and tablets, which has been achieved thanks to their mobile optimised betting site.

Website Layout & Design:

We were pleased with what we found as soon as we visited Vbet, as their site is simple to use and their products are easy to navigate around. The background image for the homepage consists of a dark purple image with different fruit symbols and other icons bouncing around. The different markets and sports are placed on a navy-blue background.

Up in the top left corner is where we will find Vbet’s logo, which is cleverly represented by the two finger “V” sign. To the right of this are links to the various sections, at Vbet, consisting of their sportsbook, casino, poker, games, live casino, live betting, virtual sports, pools betting and further along are the promotions.

Above the menu is where you’ll find the open account and sign up options and there’s also an interface where you can access notifications, the help section, languages, settings, account information and your favourites tab.

The centre of the homepage makes up all the different markets for the current sport you have selected, and you can choose from the different sports by clicking the menu on the left side. Over on the right is your own bet slip which will update as you proceed to add your selections to it. Beneath the bet slip are a few of the promotions that Vbet has ongoing and you can click on them to find out more.

Along the bottom of the page is a little drop-down arrow which when you click on it will expand and give you links to some other pieces of information. This includes an about me, contact details, FAQ, casino, poker, live calendar and social media options.

Markets:

There’s a relatively wide selection of sports to bet on, at Vbet. Players will be able to find all the popular ones, including football, tennis, basketball, futsal, field hockey, politics, snooker, American football, table tennis, handball, baseball, ice hockey and volleyball. They’ve done a good job at incorporating all the main sports, but if you’re purely looking for diversity, Vbet might not be your number one option.

Welcome Bonus:

As with every good sportsbook, Vbet has lined up a decent welcome offer which you can claim as soon as you sign up, create an account and make your first deposit. The bonus is up to £25 and is a matched deposit offer, meaning that you can make as much or as little out of it, as you choose. The minimum deposit amount is £5, which would give you £10 to play with. If you decided to go for the full amount, you’d have £50 in your balance to play around with.

In-Play Betting:

When we talk about revolutionary aspects of sports betting, there’s nothing that comes as close to when live betting was introduced. It’s a fast pace way of betting on your favourite teams during most cutting-edge moments of the game. Thankfully, if this is something that you’re interested in, VBet has your back and you’ll be able to access their live betting section easily from the homepage. Most of your favourite sports can be found and bet on and there’re plenty of markets available to choose from.

Mobile & Tablet:

With technology advancing so quickly, it’s no surprise that so many sportsbooks are providing their players with a mobile platform to bet from. Vbet do have mobile options available, where you can bet on sports from your tablet or mobile. However, it’s not in the form of a betting app and instead players can simply visit Vbet.com from their mobile browser and log into their accounts and play that way.

Customer Support:

Should you ever feel the need to get in touch with a member of the support team, at Vbet, you’ll be able to do so through live chat, telephone or email. All the information you need to get through to a representative can be found on the website and there’s also a detailed FAQ guide available which provides answers to a catalogue of questions, asked previously by customers.

Payment Methods:

You’ll find a reasonable selection of payment methods at Vbet. These consist of banking options like Visa, MasterCard and bank transfer. You’ll also be able to choose from a few different e-wallets, such as AstroPay, Skrill, DotPay, Neteller, Yandex, Moneta, EcoCard, Itau and Payz. Having a good variety of payment methods is always a nice thing to see and it’s important to mention that to claim the welcome bonus, players can only qualify for the deposit bonus by making their initial deposit into their account through cards or bank transfer. E-wallets will not count towards the offer.

Verdict:

We were pleasantly surprised with what Vbet offer to their players. For a sportsbook and casino that isn’t as popular as some of the bigger names which we’ve looked at, they have lots of markets available to keep their players busy. Their in-play console is simple to use and they have a decent selection of sports to choose from.

The welcome bonus might not be the biggest that we’ve looked at but it’s certainly worth considering, especially when you factor in that the minimum deposit amount to qualify for the bonus is £5. This appeals to a wide variety of players and you can get out as much as you feel like putting in.
