Founded in 1997 by a man named Mark Blandford, SportingBet are a UK based online sports betting company with a goal set out: To provide the best internet gambling platform for sports lovers alike.

SportingBet has offices situated all over the globe, in places like Costa Rica, the Republic of Ireland and Australia; their corporate offices can be found in Guernsey and their headquarters are in London, England.

You might recognise SportingBet as the official sponsor for championship football team Wolverhampton Wanderers between 2009 and 2014, this wasn’t the first team that they sponsored as they were even on the shirt of a Bulgarian side earlier on in 2009.

Website – Layout & Interface:

SportingBet has a standard layout when it comes to their sports page, their brand is found in the top left corner and above is a “help and contact” button as well as a function to preview the site in 20 different languages which is a great addition if English isn’t your native tongue. Opposite is where existing customers can log into their SportingBet account and new customers can also sign up here.

Below are 2 horizontal menus, the first helps you to navigate round the Sport, Casino, In-Play, Live Casino, Promotions, Mobile and Games sections. The second displays the most popular sports on the site as well as a dropdown with a complete list of all the sports featured at SportingBet. Underneath is where the player bet slip can be found, this populates as you progressively add bets to it and it even works out any potential winnings.

Below the bet slip is a popular bets of the day tab, which is a nice function if you are interested in what other people have got their eye on or have perhaps forgotten what events were happening that day. Over on the left hand side is a Quick Links tab that you can also use to ease your way through some of the most popular sports and events featured on SportingBet.

The main bulk of SportingBets homepage is made up of their highlight coupon for the day, live now, and coming up sports and events. These are all complete with times, odds and are lined up ready for you to start.

Both of these are listed on the site.

Verdict:

SportingBets’ website is everything you could expect to find on an online sports betting website and more. They have a great looking website that is both easy to manoeuvre round and to find all the products you could need, they have designed some handy quick links as well as popular bets that you can search through if you aren’t sure what you are looking for and despite not having many sport markets to choose from, they make up for this with their fantastic in-play console.

One area in particular we would like to see them improve would be their promotions, whilst the welcome bonus is very good, existing customers might struggle with the lack of ongoing promotions available.

Overall we rate SportingBet highly on our list of the best betting sites and definitely recommend their product to you, so sign up below for their exclusive welcome bonus and excellent rendition of a sports book.
